October 2022 Lighthouse Update

October already! Can you believe it?

This month is off to a fast start. Leads are flying in and the Lightkeepers are flush with buildings that are offering increasingly more cash back. We think the worst of the market is behind.

Market Update

We are excited (and thankful) about market-wide vacancy continuing to rise. Apartments are starting to reach out and offer large cash back to renters again. Yesterday, Dallas Morning News reported that the number of net new leases in Q3 had dropped by 5,000 units, and another 63,000 new units are being built now. Rents in Dallas are up 13.4% from last year, but with news like this, there might be brighter horizons soon.
