Oct 25, 2021 - City leaders break ground on new affordable housing community in Southern Dallas.
The Ridge at Lancaster Apartments is a $210-million investment spanning 63 acres. Staff with LDG Development said Phase I of the project will include 300 apartments. Of those units, 270 will be workforce housing, or income-restricted and available to those making less than $52,000 a year for a family of four. (wfaa)
Nov 1, 2021 - The complex is the first phase of a three-phase development spanning approximately 94 acres. It will include market rate and diverse housing options and will offer onsite amenities including 250,000 square feet of commercial and retail space.
Plans for the remaining phases of this development are currently in design. This will include 250 units of townhomes and the commercial and retail spaces. Construction on the remaining phases of this development is expected to begin July 2022. (Dallas Examiner)
