Apr 21, 2021 - A local development team is moving toward construction of a large apartment project as part of a mixed-use development near the Broadway corridor and directly adjacent to a military base.

The Residences at Grayson Heights will bring 281 market-rate one- and two-bedroom units as well as studios to a four-acre site at the northeast intersection of East Carson Street and Spofford Avenue, directly west of Joint Base San Antonio-Fort Sam Houston and three quarters of a mile east of Broadway. The project is on the San Antonio Historic and Design Review Commission's April 21 agenda for final approval. It received conceptual approval in April 2019. (Biz Journals)
