Hoque Global and Lanoha Real Estate
The district’s first phase includes the development of One Newpark, a hyper-mixed-use tower directly across from the Dallas Convention Center and Dallas City Hall. Hoque Global and Lanoha Real Estate have partnered together to develop the cutting-edge new tower. One Newpark will set the tone for forward-thinking smart development in the district and will anchor activity on the western end.
In the higher levels of the tower, residents of One Newpark will have a front row seat to the expansion of downtown southward and access to incredible resort-style amenities. The 268 units will be built with high end finishes and feature breathtaking views of downtown Dallas.
May 3, 2022 - Newpark Dallas District, a proposed new master-planned multi-phase development, has reached a new milestone. The $3.5 billion, 20 acre smart district received approval as a subdistrict of the Downtown Connection Tax Increment Financing (TIF) District, which will provide public subsidies to move it along. This allows construction of the first phase to begin, which is the 38-story tower dubbed One Newpark.
Located in downtown Dallas, a now empty series of parking lots behind City Hall will become Newpark. The idea of the new district centers around attracting technology firms to Dallas. Newpark Dallas District is set to become one of the catalyst projects that the City of Dallas TIF hopes will set the stage for further investment, especially in the tech sector.
The developers of the project are Dallas-based Hoque Global and Omaha-based Lanoha Real Estate Company. (Papercitynag)
Master planned on a 20-acre site on the South Side of downtown Dallas, Newpark Dallas has been envisioned as a transformative and sustainable mixed-use development that will imbue in the heart of Dallas a renewed vitality and a collection of welcoming pedestrian-oriented spaces. As an exemplar of urban placemaking, Newpark Dallas has been thoughtfully planned and incorporates a rich and diverse mix of uses – from luxury residences to an academic campus - that will serve those who will live, work, and play in the new community. At ground level, the buildings will engage passersby with wide sidewalks and are unified by landscaped streetscapes. (Pickardchilton)
