December 2022 Lighthouse Update

Welcome to our December company update! We are thrilled to share with you some exciting news about our performance this month. We are excited to announce a new feature that we have been working on: landing pages for popular employers. We understand the importance of making it easy for renters to find the perfect home near their place of work. That's why we created landing pages for some of the most popular employers around. These pages feature listings of apartments that are within a convenient commuting distance of each employer, as well as other helpful information such as average commute times and nearby amenities. We hope that this new feature will make it even easier for renters to find the perfect home near their job, and we will be continually updating and expanding our list of popular employers to ensure that we are meeting the needs of our customers. We believe that this new feature will be a valuable resource for renters, and we are confident that it will help us to continue growing and improving as a company.

"Buyer's Box" Email

One of our major marketing efforts in December's is to launch more frequent marketing emails, where we share popular listings. We want to make sure that our customers have access to the best listings as soon as they become available, so that's why we are now sending out regular updates with the latest and greatest building listings. These updates feature photos, summary details, and links to our property pages to help renters make informed decisions. We believe that this new marketing effort will be a valuable resource for renters, and we are confident that it will help us to continue growing and improving as a company. Facebook Groups Grow To 350k Members

We are really happy to announce that our Housing Rocket Facebook groups have now reached over 350,000 members. These groups are dedicated to housing-themed discussions and are designed to help people find roommates, subleases, and new apartments all throughout the US and even abroad. We have seen tremendous growth in these groups over the past year, and we are grateful to our community for their support and engagement. These groups have become a valuable resource for renters, and hopefully another acquisition channel for Lighthouse. We believe that these groups will continue to be an important part of our business, and we are committed to providing the best possible experience for our community members. Insurance Program To Shut Down

We are sorry to announce that we will be shutting down our renters insurance program. Our insurance provider Boost has informed us that they will be discontinuing the program, and as a result, we will no longer be able to offer insurance to our customers. We understand that this may be disappointing news for those who have used our renters insurance program in the past, and we apologize for any inconvenience that this may cause. We appreciate your understanding and support as we navigate this change. If you have any questions or concerns about the shutdown of our renters insurance program, please don't hesitate to contact us. We will do our best to assist you and provide any information that you may need.

One Month of Free Rent Contest

It's been a great month for our company, and we wanted to offer our Austin customers a special promotion: a free month of rent! We were thrilled to see such a positive response to this promotion, and we were able to give away free rent to a number of our customers. Congrats to @moss_and_lace who won this contest.
