Wright State University is a public university based in Dayton Ohio. It’s known for its excellent programs in health sciences, business, education and engineering. Wright State has a strong emphasis on STEM (science, technology, engineering and math) fields which makes it an attractive choice for students interested in pursuing a career with these disciplines.
The main campus has over 24,000 students enrolled at any given time with about 3/4 of them being undergraduates. The majority of those undergraduates reside on campus as well so you’ll have plenty of opportunities to meet new people and make friends if you live close by yourself or with roommates!
The university is also located in a safe area of Dayton. The campus is near several shopping outlets, restaurants and entertainment venues so you’ll have plenty of options when it comes to what to do on the weekends!
Most students live on campus so it's important to plan ahead; apply early if possible! However, if living on campus isn't right for your situation, there are plenty of affordable off-campus housing options nearby that offer amenities like pools and gyms just like those found at college campuses (but without having roommates).
