Winston-Salem
Wake Forest University is located in Winston-Salem, North Carolina, a city with a population of about 245,000. The university was founded in 1834 and it has been ranked as one of the top 25 liberal arts colleges in the country. Wake Forest offers over 100 majors and degree programs across its four undergraduate schools, including Arts & Sciences; Divinity School; Graduate School; and Wake Forest School of Medicine.
The school's most popular majors include business administration (22 percent), psychology (15 percent), biology (10 percent) and political science (8 percent). For dorms, you'll want to get a room on one of three quads: Quad-A (upperclassmen), Quad-B (upperclassmen), or Witherspoon Hall (freshmen only). There are also apartments available off campus if you don't want to live in a traditional dorm setting.
