Villanova
Villanova University is a private, Catholic research university in Radnor Township, Pennsylvania. It was founded by Saint Villanova in 1842. The school offers bachelor's degrees across its three schools: the College of Liberal Arts & Sciences; the School of Business; and the School of Engineering.
Itβs best known for its engineering program, which has consistently ranked among the top 100 programs in U.S. News & World Report rankings since 2000 β as well as being ranked first in U.S News Best Graduate Schools 2019 edition! Students graduating with a bachelor's degree can apply directly to an engineering master's program without further coursework at Villanova University or another institution after graduation (the same applies to those with an undergraduate degree).
The university is also known for its strong international presence and study abroad opportunities. Students can choose from more than 100 different programs in over 50 countries around the world! Villanova University is located just outside Philadelphia, Pa., making it easy for students to explore the city or head down south to Washington D.C.
Students can live on campus or in off-campus apartments near Villanova University. Students who live on campus will have access to all of the amenities offered by the school, including a gym and various dining options. Off-campus housing is usually cheaper than living in dorms, but itβs also farther away from campus and may not come with any on-site amenities like laundry facilities or study lounges.
