UVU is home to over 6,000 on-campus residents with student housing being required unless you are married or have dependent children living at home. Most residence halls have air conditioning in summer months although some do not have it available year round due to financial reasons; however they do provide fans when needed!
Orem is a great place to live. Orem itself is known as "the crossroads" because one can go anywhere from here. It is only a short drive away from all of the major attractions in Utah such as Provo Canyon, Salt Lake City and Park City. Not only does UVU have good academics but there are also many things to do on campus such as intramural sports, clubs and organizations; academic programs such as nursing and health professions being some of them.
