The University of New England is a small, liberal arts college in Biddeford, Maine. It's known for its business programs, which are top-notch and highly rated by the Princeton Review and U.S. News & World Report. The school also offers an array of interesting majors and minors related to the environment, health care, psychology and other fields that can provide you with a well-rounded education.
An apartment living experience at the University of New England will be different than some other colleges because it’s located in such a small city; there aren't many apartments available or many options for off-campus housing options. However, this makes everything more convenient because most students live on campus their first year (although some may choose to commute from home). As far as your housing options go: you'll find them mostly within walking distance from campus along Route 1A if you want something more affordable or toward downtown if you're looking for luxury living close by every convenience store imaginable!
UNE offers a variety of housing options for students, including traditional college dorms, apartment-style living and suite-style apartments. While these rooms are all fairly small (especially the dorms), they do have private bathrooms and some even have kitchens so you can cook your own meals. If you’re looking for something more spacious and don't mind paying more money each month then off campus housing is definitely an option to consider.
Some of the dorms are located in a building called “The Quad,” which is right next to the dining hall and also has a convenience store where you can buy snacks or drinks on your way back from class. The Quad is basically a mini-village within itself because it's entirely student-run; students are able to take part in events like dances, concerts and other fun activities that are planned throughout the year! UNE offers many clubs and organizations for students who want more out of their college experience than just classes.
The school has a great reputation for being friendly and welcoming to anyone who wants to be involved. The campus is small enough that you can easily walk from one side to the other, but still offers plenty of space for students to spread out.
