UNLV is a public research university located in the city of Las Vegas in the state of Nevada. UNLV was founded in 1957 after its cornerstone was laid on October 13, 1955 and it opened for classes on September 2, 1958. The University offers 248 different bachelor’s degrees, 112 master’s degrees, 44 doctoral degrees as well as 5 professional degree programs including law and medicine. It has over 30 student clubs and organizations with over 1,600 members that offer students a place to meet new people while also giving them opportunities to explore their interests outside the classroom environment.

UNLV is a great school to attend if you are interested in pursuing a career in the entertainment industry. The university offers many programs, such as film and video production and broadcasting, that will help prepare students for careers in these fields. UNLV also has an award-winning Honors College that provides academic support and enrichment activities for high achieving students.

UNLV’s campus is located in the heart of Las Vegas, which means that it is very easy to get around and explore what Las Vegas has to offer. The university has five different residence halls that provide on-campus living options for students.

The city itself offers many things for young people: live music shows; casinos; nightclubs; art galleries; museums and historical sites near campus; parks where people can go hiking or biking without too much trouble finding parking spots for their cars or motorcycles nearby--and this list could go on forever!

Students come from all over the world to attend UNLV. Many international students choose to live on campus because it’s cheaper than living off campus or getting their own apartment. If you want to live with roommate, it will be much affordable!
