Texas Christian University (TCU) is a private, four-year university in Fort Worth. The school was founded in 1873 as the Baptist University of North America and began its current incarnation when it merged with Southwestern Baptist Theological Seminary in 1908. TCU has been ranked among the top three universities in the nation for business education by U.S News & World Report and it also has several other highly ranked programs including education and nursing.
TCU offers more than 250 undergraduate degrees through its main campus located on Fort Worth's south side; however, you can also find off campus housing options nearby if you're interested in living away from campus life or just want to save money on rent!

TCU is also known for its annual Homecoming celebration, which takes place each October. The event includes a parade and football game that attracts more than 70,000 people every year! TCU is located in Fort Worth, Texas, about 20 miles west of downtown Dallas.
