Cedar City
Southern Utah University (SUU) is a four-year private coeducational university located in Cedar City, Utah. SUU was founded in 1898 as a branch of the Latter-day Saint University system and has an enrollment of over 7,000 students. As part of the unranked Utah system, Southern Utah University offers more than 60 bachelor's degree programs and 30 master's degree programs in liberal arts fields such as English, history, math, science and business administration.
Southern Utah University has been ranked by U.S News & World Report since 2018 as among the top 10 best regional universities in the West region of the United States. Students from all 50 states and over 100 countries attend SUU each year; about 75% come from out of state.
