Samford University is a private, coeducational university based in Birmingham, Alabama. The university was founded by Baptists in 1841 and is now affiliated with the Southern Baptist Convention. Samford offers 13 undergraduate degrees, 43 graduate degrees and 4 doctoral programs. Most of their undergraduate students come from the Southeast United States with approximately 1,500 international students representing more than 40 countries making up about 6% of their student population.
