Salvador
Salvador is the capital of the state of Bahia and one of Brazil’s most popular tourist destinations. It's known for its rich history and culture, as well as its beaches and natural beauty.
Salvador has a large population, with over 3 million people living in the city proper alone. It’s also home to two universities: Universidade Federal da Bahia (UFBA) and Universidade Católica de Salvador (UCAM). With so many young people living there, it may be easier to find roommates or sublets than in smaller cities like Camaçari or Feira De Santana.
There are several neighborhoods where housing costs tend to be more affordable than others: Barra neighborhood near the beach offers more expensive options; Canudos neighborhood is cheaper but farther from downtown; Andarilho neighborhood offers both luxury apartments close to downtown as well as cheaper options further away from downtown; Pituba is also less expensive than other areas but has access to amenities such as restaurants, bars and grocery stores within walking distance from your apartment building or house rental!
The local economy relies heavily on tourism dollars earned through hotels located along beaches like Ilha do Boiçal or Praia Do Forte where visitors can stay overnight before heading back home after experiencing all that Brazil has to offer during their time here!
