The University of Kansas is a large school with over 25,000 students. It offers many different majors and minors as well as graduate programs in law and medicine. The university has been around since 1866 and has an excellent reputation for its outstanding academic programs, especially its engineering program.
The University of Kansas is known for its strong engineering and business programs, which are consistently ranked among the best in the nation. So if you’re looking to major in something like biochemistry or business administration, this is a great school to attend.
On campus, students say that they love living in Lawrence. It’s small enough that it never gets too crowded or busy but big enough that there are plenty of things to do on weekends and evenings when you want to get out of your dorm room and socialize with other students (and maybe even make some new friends!). The town itself has lots of great restaurants, bars, shops…basically all the amenities you could ask for without having to live in a big city like Chicago or New York City! And because it’s such a small town (population: 90k), it's easy to find an off campus apartment or house close by so that your commute isn't too far away from campus every day!
The university offers a wide range of housing options for students: dormitory rooms (also called the residence halls or residence halls), apartments on campus, or off-campus houses with roommates or single occupancy units. Students have access to laundry facilities and recreational areas like swimming pools, basketball courts and tennis courts. Students who live in the dorms will be able to take advantage of free shuttle buses that run between academic buildings on campus as well as downtown Lawrence where many restaurants are located so they don't have to worry about parking their cars during their meal times!
