Hollywood
Hollywood is a city of 150,000 people, located in Los Angeles County. Its economy is based on tourism and entertainment - you can find a wide variety of both here! A trip to Hollywood is incomplete without seeing the famous Hollywood sign, which you can see from many spots around town (including Griffith Park). Other popular attractions include the Dolby Theater and the Grauman's Chinese Theater. Other nearby neighborhoods include West Hollywood and Beverly Hills.
Hollywood has been home to many big names throughout its history: Charlie Chaplin, Marilyn Monroe and countless other celebrities have called it home at some point or another. You might even see someone famous when looking for an apartment here!
Hollywood is home to a number of attractions and neighborhoods, each with its own flair. If you're looking to be in the center of it all, Hollywood Boulevard and Vine Street are popular spots for tourists and locals alike. You'll find plenty of restaurants, clubs and shops that cater to everyone from families on vacation to weekend warriors stopping by after work.
For those who want something a bit quieter than city life offers but still within walking distance from all the amenities available downtown, there are some great streets farther west along Santa Monica Boulevard where you can live comfortably without having to drive everywhere (though parking might be harder).
