Fort Collins
Colorado State University is known for being one of the best colleges in the country, especially when it comes to its excellent programs in agricultural sciences. You can also get a degree in equine studies, which will prepare you to work with horses or other animals. The school's music department offers degrees in everything from piano performance to voice and opera performance, so if you love music, this is definitely a good place to study it.
If you're not interested in studying agriculture or the arts at Colorado State University, there are plenty of other options available as well! For example: CSU has an outstanding neuroscience program (one of only two such programs offered by public universities), along with several pre-med tracks that include courses on anatomy and physiology before moving onto more advanced topics like biochemistry and immunology. This means that if you want to be a doctor someday but aren't sure what kind yet (or even if you just want some extra training after graduating from high school), then CSU could be right up your alley!
The city where CSU is located is Fort Collins; about 92% percent of students live off campus.* While there are plenty of apartments within walking distance from campus (around 6 miles away) most people choose instead live closer together so they can share rides.* In fact 83% percent of all undergraduates live together with friends through their first year while getting used to college life.
The school itself is located in a very safe area of Fort Collins, with many students walking around campus at night without any worries. There are also several restaurants within walking distance, including the famous Tivoli Student Union and Aggie Ice Cream shop.* If you want to go out on the weekends but don't want to drive all the way home then there are plenty of options for public transportation as well (including buses and light rail).
