Colorado School of Mines is known for engineering, but it’s also a great place to study business and science. The campus is beautiful, and the faculty are friendly.  Not only does it offer several majors in these subjects, but students will also have access to research opportunities that help them get ahead in their field.

The best part about Colorado School of Mines is that it has a small student body so you won't be lost in the crowd. The professors are known for being approachable and they welcome feedback from their students on how they can improve their courses or curricula. On top of this, there are many clubs and organizations on campus where you can meet other people who share your interests or hobbies.

There are plenty of opportunities for travel and outdoor activities around Golden, which is where Colorado School of Mines is located. It has a population of about 17,000 people which most are college students!

If you want some off-campus living options that aren’t too far from school or your friends who live there then consider looking in this area as well (but remember: rent prices will probably be higher). You can find a roommate who lives nearby so that commuting isn’t as much work when it comes time during finals week when everyone needs rides everywhere; otherwise just make sure they live close enough so that getting home after class doesn’t feel like an eternity!
