Case Western Reserve University is a top-ranked, private research university in Cleveland, Ohio. The university was established in 1826 and has over 1,700 faculty members and about 8,000 students enrolled at any given time.
Case Western Reserve University, a member of the Association of American Universities, has achieved international renown in biomedical research, education and clinical care. The School of Medicine was ranked second among top-tier medical schools by U.S. News & World Report in 2018. The School of Law is recognized as one of America's best law schools and holds the highest “superior” rating among all law schools from the American Bar Association (ABA).
Case Western Reserve University offers more than 150 undergraduate programs across its 10 schools and colleges, including architecture and planning; arts and sciences; engineering; humanities; management; music performance/education; nursing science and health professions (pre-med); social work; and urban studies with city planning emphasis.
The campus itself is pretty small compared to other colleges we've featured here on this page today but that doesn't mean it's not worth checking out if you're looking for somewhere close by where it might be easier than commuting every day from your apartment building downtown. Many students live off campus though since there aren't enough dorms available on campus so rent prices tend to stay lower than other universities' rates (which tend towards the higher end).
