Arizona State University (ASU) is a large research institution with multiple campuses across the state. The main campus in Tempe has over 70 buildings and is home to over 65,000 students. In addition to being one of the largest universities in the United States, ASU is also known for its innovation and entrepreneurship programs.
ASU offers a variety of majors, including business administration and management, computer science, engineering and architecture, public health sciences (including nursing), aerospace science/aeronautical & astronautical engineering; among many others! Students at ASU enjoy living in the Phoenix area which offers year-round sunshine as well as some great outdoor activities such as hiking or swimming at nearby lakes or rivers. Most students live on-campus near their classrooms but there are some off-campus options available if needed - just make sure they're close enough!
ASU is also home to a variety of student organizations, including Greek life and athletics. There are over 300 clubs and organizations for students to become involved in and make new friends! Students at ASU can choose from many different sports teams including baseball, basketball, cross country/track & field, football, golf, soccer and swimming. ASU also hosts a variety of events throughout the year for students to attend, such as concerts by popular artists or comedians.
Life on campus at ASU is very social; most of the student body lives on campus in apartments just off campus within walking distance to classes and all the major buildings at ASU including the library (which holds over 2 million books). The city itself is one of Phoenix's suburbs so there are plenty of shops, restaurants and bars nearby if you don't feel like cooking or going back home after class!
