Tempe
Arizona State University is a public metropolitan research university. It was founded in 1885 as the Tempe Normal School, and it has since grown to become one of the largest universities in North America with close to 70,000 students enrolled across its four campuses.
Phoenix is known for being one of the country's fastest growing cities, though it has retained an old-town feel despite its rapid growth over recent years. The city offers great shopping opportunities at both Phoenix Fashion Square Mall and Scottsdale Fashion Square Mall. If you're more into outdoor activities than shopping, there are plenty of options for that too - hiking trails abound!
The majority of students live on campus because housing can be difficult to find off campus due to rising rent prices near campus areas. However, if you do decide to look further out from campus or even find an apartment close enough where you could walk there every day.
The school offers a variety of degrees including architecture and design, arts and humanities, business administration, engineering and technology studies (EATS), health professions education (HPED), human development & family sciences (HDFS), journalism & mass communication (JMC), liberal arts & sciences social science track program for undergraduates; mathematics & computer science EATS; nursing HPED; psychology HDFS; veterinary medicine HPED; veterinary bioscience EATS as well as others! Many students choose to live on campus because they enjoy being close by their classes but if not then off-campus housing should be plentiful with over 30 complexes located within walking distance of campus alone!
