Mumbai

Mumbai, India is a city of contradictions. It has some of the most modern and advanced infrastructure in the country, yet much of its population still lives in poverty. There are plenty of job opportunities for those willing to work hard, but it's not always easy to find something that suits your skillset and interests.

The Mumbai economy relies heavily on tourism because it has many attractions such as museums, parks and historical sites to visit. You can also rent an apartment if you don't want to stay at a hotel while visiting this beautiful city! The local culture offers great nightlife with festivals happening throughout the year.

Mumbai is India's largest city, and a major international hub for business, finance and culture. The city has been continuously inhabited since the 7th century AD, with archeological evidence indicating settlements existed even earlier. Mumbai (formerly Bombay) means "the beautiful" in Sanskrit; it was founded as a trading port and soon became India's principal gateway to Europe.

South Mumbai (or Colaba), which features more colonial architecture than North Mumbai (or Lower Parel). South Mumbai contains famous attractions like the Gateway of India monument, which commemorates Queen Victoria's visit to Bombay in 1876; Haji Ali Mosque; Mahalaxmi Temple; Esplanade promenade & viewpoint on Marine Drive; CST Railway Station (Victoria Terminus); Flora Fountain; Crawford Market vegetable market; Chhatrapati Shivaji Terminus railway station (CSTM), formerly known as Victoria Terminus railway station or VT railway station or just VT/Chatrapati Shivaji Terminus Railway Station; Pali Naka flower market area where most of the florists from all over India come here to sell their fresh flowers daily

North Mumbai includes areas such as Dadar, Matunga East & West Chembur etc., where you can find some really nice restaurants such as north indian cuisine restaurants etc.
